A big thank you to everyone

Today it is a week since Justyna passed away from us. The comments on the blog and all the messages I have gotten has been overwhelming and I want to thank everyone for all your kind words and your support during this difficult time.
It is heartwarming to also hear that she is such a big inspiration to so many people and that she inspired people through more than just her beading.
There is no other person in the world that I admire more than her.

After some serious consideration I have decided that the blog will remain open. It has brought a lot of joy and happiness to a lot of people and closing the blog down would be taking that away from them. Instead it should be shared with others.
It is likely that Justyna's site on Pinterest will remain as well.

The shop however will remain closed. It wouldn't be right to keep her shop going after her death.
But that doesn't mean that a new shop could not be opened again some day to honour Justyna's memory.

  2. Thank you for keeping her blog open. A lot of beaders will be keeping their eyes on this blog to see if another store opens. Sadly we won't be seeing any new creations from this very talented person who took a lot of us into a new dimensional world with her 'twisted' patterns.

  3. I am so very sorry to learn of Justyna's passing. Her work was beautiful, unique, and very inspiring to me. I have one pattern left undone from her creations, Polaris. Until now, I've been afraid to try it. I'll now make it knowing Justyna will be guiding my beads and needle from her very special place in heaven.

  4. Justyna's patterns are beautiful and her shop was one of my favorites. I have one pattern left and will make it as I always did- wondering how a person could envision a thread path and create such beautiful things. I'm sorry for your loss.

  5. I am very sorry to hear of Justyna's passing. She has created so many beautiful patterns.I have had many people contact me on Pinterest about Justyna's pattern for the Dragonfly bracelet and earrings (from April, 2013 post, I think). Is the pattern available anywhere now that her Craftsy and Etsy shops are closed? I would greatly appreciate this knowledge. Thank you so much.

  6. Valerie,

As of now there isn't any of Justyna's patterns available for purchase.
It is something I am going to discuss with my family once I see them again.

I would love nothing more than opening a new shop in honour of Justyna's memory, so that they can bring joy to everyone again.

  7. I would like to express my deepest condolences. I enjoyed Justyna posts and her creativity. She was such a generous person, sharing her love for beading. There were some patterns I bookmarked to purchase at her Etsy store so I'm so glad to hear that you will consider making her patterns available. Also, thank you for keeping Justyna's blog open. I will be able to drop in occasionally to reread Justyna's thoughts and to remember her.

  8. What a generous gesture to leave her blog up. She was talented indeed and I know she is greatly missed. Maybe you can reopen her site and sell her patterns and donate the proceeds to a charity of her choice. That way her talents will continue to do good. If you need my help let me know.
