Pandora-style beaded bead

After making a few different beaded beads I still have lots of ideas in my head... wish I had some more time to carry them all out though. ;) The latest plan was to design a Pandora-style beaded bead, with a hole big enough for a beaded crochet rope. Two such beads have already been created, made mostly with wax pearls and Toho seed beads. The beads measure 2 cm (0,79") x  2,8 cm (1,10") and they look like this:

But you know what? Of course, they have to serve as pendants now for me! ;)

I almost wish to make more... despite the fact that I had to spend almost 4 hours to complete just one of them. Oh well, we'll see. Could be though that I'll try to draw a pattern how to make them. That might be finished faster. ;)

I'll see you tomorrow again. :)

  1. Pomysł świetny, dawno chciałam zrobić sobie taki koralik do bransoletki ale jakoś mi nie wychodził. Twoje są cudne, jako wisiorek też;)

  5. Hi, Just bought this pattern on etsy. Just skimming through it before work, is step #10 supposed to be 12 beads twice? 'Cause in the picture, the string goes through 12, not 10, and it doesn't say twice. Thanks! Lovely bead, hope to try it when I get home from work!
